EmeliaLupin
I've been trying to load some mods into Bannerlord, but for some reason, when I boot up the launcher, the enable mod button is greyed out and can't be clicked. I've attempted to solve this by downloading the mod, fixed launcher, but that hasn't worked. Has anyone experienced this problem before and/or is familiar with its solution? LoneVaryag
Same problem. Been using mods on M&B Warband for years and had a few mods installed and working fine on Bannerlord. Then I took a break from Bannerlord for a while and came back and none of the earlier mods would run, just caused crashes. So I removed all of those mods, came to Nexus and downloaded "Diplomacy Fixes" and "Bear My Banner" (and also installed the .dll fixer just in case I was doing something wrong). The .dll fixer says that everything is unlocked and both my Mod launcher and the original launcher on Steam shows the two new mods installed. I can check the boxes on the offline mod launcher (just called "BannerLordLauncher") but this just causes crashes no matter which mod I try to use. I have tried both the Diplomacy Fixes 1.58 and the beta version 1.59. The problem is that the Mods section on the native launcher on Steam is completely greyed out. Cannot make anything happen. Can't check the boxes to enable the new mods even though they are showing (and according to the .dll unlocker, unlocked). Can't even uncheck the boxes above. But the launcher does launch the game. If anyone has a fix for this please reply. I am a gamer; not a coder, modder or IT expert so please speak slowly.
LoneVaryag
Okay, here's an update... My problem was that I didn't notice the little information icon next to the mod I was trying to enable. First of all I needed to use the mod launcher (https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/265) where I found the info icon. This explains the other mods, etc which need to be installed ahead of the mod that I was trying to enable. For me it was several that were not installed or in order. It took a while of downloads, installs and getting everything in the right order then restarting the launcher but I'm finally up and running with the mods I want to use. BTW, Part of it came when trying to start Bannerlord. I would get a message telling me where some of the mods had to be in order for a proper start. I hope this helps.
