Bloatfly larva syringer script + feral ghouls = infection mechanic?

So, Zombie Walkers is a great mod, specifically its 3.0 beta, but it hasn't been updated in almost a year. I suggested the alternative in the title back when it received its most recent update to replace the NPC resurrection mechanic from the original version. To my knowledge, the advantages compared to a ghoulified resurrection as in the original version of Zombie Walkers would be:

  • might cause less save bloat due to fewer NPC edits
  • keep feral ghoul attributes, AI, and animations
  • less scripting overhead

 

Could a more experienced modder give this a try, maybe make it compatible with Zombie Walkers, Night of the Creeps, and/or More Feral Ghouls to boot? I'm barely able to parse xEdit myself.
