jporter67
I hope this is the right place for this question and if so, I'm hoping someone can give me easy instructions as to how I can COMPLETELY remove NMM. I've had a few problems lately with NMM and I'm trying to fix it. Whenever I try to download the new NMM, I get a message regarding a mod I had deleted before it was uninstalled/deactivated. Nexus keeps trying to fix it, but can't and I get an error message stating nexus needs to close, and because of that I can't get to the modlist or the files .The only thing I can think of is to completely delete both NMM and Skyrim which I would rather not do. I tried uninstalling NMM(including config files)and then reinstalling it with no luck. Duskdweller gave me some suggestions on the Bug reports forum, but I still get the same error messages. Now, I guess the actual question is what files do I have to remove to no longer get the error messages so NMM doesn't try to reinstall my mod list and I can start fresh. Unfortunately, for the life of me I can't remember how to attach a Tracelog error report. I'm asking here because, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is a bug report any longer, it's just me having done something wrong looking for a fix that I'd understand. I'm FAR from computer literate so bear with me please. Any help and or suggestions are greatly appreciated. One other thing, I tried going to a restore point before I had problems and that was a no-go. The only available restore point is the same date I uninstalled and tried reinstalling NMM due to the hard drive being replaced a couple of days prior.
