Keebalicious
I am curious to know if it is possible to change the color of fired lasers in the game so that, for example, a laser rifle would fire green beams instead of the default red ones. Help would be appreciated. :

sombrehombre
It isn't a trivial setting in GECK, but all you really need to do is modify the meshes\projectiles\TestLaserBeamSteady.NIF art model found in the Fallout - Meshes.bsa in NifSkope or Nifty. Then you might want to modify the muzzle flash on the weapon itself to match.
SangRahl
Muzzle Flashes I think you can turn off without any ill-effect... But you can't fire a weapon that has no projectile attached. Too bad my Nifskope skills are akin to a 2yr-old with a sharpie. Heheheh. If someone can work out how to rebuild the laser beam projectile with a blank (read: invisible) texture and no particle effect, then I'd be gleeful to finally have my Microwave Laser Rifle completed.
