Kuugari Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 I actually manage to made a sword and then i created texture of the sword in mudbox but once in nifskope the texture of the sword is not showing.. it just as normal color(white) in game. i know i already set the right path of the textures. someone can aid ? maybe changing setting or what.. i'm still beginner and need a lot of explaination at nifskope part.. Werne Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 (edited) First, the textures MUST be DirectDraw Surface format (.dds), otherwise they won't show up in game. Second, Specular map is embedded in normal map's alpha channel. Third, never include the full path to the folder in meshes (like C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\file path\texture.dds), you only need to include the path from the Data folder (like textures\file path\texture.dds). And finally, this is the site feedback section, not Skyrim Mod Talk, you'd be better off asking for help in the game specific section. :thumbsup: Oh, and don't bump your threads or a moderator will smite you with the mighty banhammer.
