Need help w/ load order/priority -CTD on start, (exactly when Ralof is saying "... and that thief over there.."), 70 plugins what may be causi

Hello,
I've installed a couple of mods that mainly overhaul graphics of the game, more than half of them are just normal retextures mods that are not coming with any esp.
My game is running smoothly, so I guess it is not a performance problem.
I have GTX1050, Intel core I5 (8'th gen) and 8gb of ram, my computer is a Asus notebook.
I'm a newbie in the matter of load order and priorities of the mods, so any help will be hugely apreciated.

What I realised is that, I got CTDs exactly when Ralof was saying ""... and that thief over there.."(checked 3 times) so I guess it might be problem with helgen, also I encouraged CTDs when trying "coc riverwood" from the main menu, I was getting CTD when the loading screen was still on, but it was on for a while so the CTD might have occured when skyrim has finished loading.

Checking out LOOT is the most I can do for you.

First off, texture mods won't cause CTD's unless you have a really old computer.

Never try to coc into riverwood from the mainmenu. The reason is because you could end up skipping some needed activators in the game engine like character creation and npc variables.

 

I recommend downloading a pre-made save file that skips the Helgen intro.

Don't bother with mods like Alternate start since they do nice features, they still use scripts and can cause unneeded space in your load order.

 

To get straight to the point, you are mostly crashing your game because you are using a mod that is conflicting with another mod in your load order.

From your mod list, off the back I can see that it might be due to your animation mods.

 

Realstic Ragdoll could be conflicting with your XPSE replacer.

From your mod list, It is either your animations that are causing major conflicts, or your race mods that are causing incompatibilities.

 

Few tips

1.Do not bother using that Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch since most mods out there don't even update themselves with USLP.

2. A rule of thumb is to keep it simple when you are modding. I mean, really simple, as in 1 dominant overhaul per category (animation, character appearance)

 

First test your animation mods and see if HDT physics, realstic ragdolls, XPSE all work together- because you are using too many physic mods.

My personal advice is, "if it's not game changing, don't bother"

Realistic ragdolls is nice, but if it's being too difficult to use, just get rid of it.

When you download this many mods of the same category make sure to read the mod description and user reviews about them.

Remember to keep it simple and ask yourself, "what am I really going for"

Is it to enhance appearance or race abilities?

 

Skyrim could crash if you are putting too much strain on the game engine with constant background mods including having more BSA files and ESM files.

Again, my advice stays

you're doing fine in textures

but over doing it with animations, AI, and npc race adjustments especially with HDT's and ragdolls.

 

From my own troubleshooting experiance, I use tes5edit which runs all the mods I have and tells me where the game is conflicting.

Go on Youtube and watch tes5edit videos on how the program works. its really quick and very useful.
