How do you clear out player dropped items?

I kinda sorta dropped a few thousand goblets/plates/etc clutter items then proceeded to use a few run spells to make them go flying.

I tried using the PCB command multiple times from multiple places (connected and non connected to whiteruns cell). I also tried using the Save Game Cleaner tool around here somewhere that didn't fix it either.

Nothing I do seems to be working... Am I doing it wrong?

I followed this guide to a "T" and still nothing. I just can't seem to get whiterun to reset.... any ideas?

If waiting 30 days in-game time for the cells to reset doesn't help, I don't have a clue what will... Not particularly clever to save the game after doing daft stuff like this :P

I tend to use dead dragons as trash receptacles, but of course you have to collect the trash before you can throw it away by stashing it on a dragon (or other random-spawn dead body).

 

It's a great way to delete stuff, though. Dead bodies disappear really quickly. Garbage = collected!
