Yossarian22
I wonder what kind of compression i must use when converting textures. Many times, when I convert a bmp into a dds, GECK says, its missing mip-maps. In game itself everything is ok, only in the editor its broken. And also, i always create mipmaps, but i wonder, what kind of mip-maps are needed. There are different choices in my compression tool (Compressator 1.41) thx
SpeedyB64
I use the photoshop nvidea dds exporter it does a good job. I also use Gimp and its dds exporter and it works great. (and Gimp is free) I would suggest you download Gimp and its dds exporter and use that. And if it works in-game thats all hat matters, the G.E.C.K. just loves to complain about anything it can. Camon
I used Photoshop CS3 with Nvidia DDS exporter. And I was making retexturing for Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines...Then when Fallout 3 came to town I figured out that Fallout 3 retexturing really simple :)
