Etruan
I don't know if it's just me but is Fallout 3's lockipicking much better than Oblivion's? I'd really like to see a mod where the lockpicking in Oblivion is modified to be more like Fallout 3's. I don't really understand modding that well yet so don't kill me if this is impossible... Vagrant0
Unfortunately, that aspect is hard coded. You might be able to script an alternative by adding a script to every single locked door or container, but it would probably have to run entirely off message boxes, and require changing all those things. Yes, it's an alternative, one I did not consider, but it is also not what was asked. It's an interesting mod, and one can never know all that is out there, but it isn't what the OP was specifically talking about. I was commenting specifically on the sorts of things he mentioned wanting. Regardless, that mod does make use of alot of added scripts and changed doors... kinda like I had said it would have to.
