Splortched
First off, I am not new to modding. I followed the readme's in the installs, and I installed companion mod along with about 8 or 9 different custom companions. Installed the natural faces and ren's beauty pack... Now I can't find a single companion. I reinstalled cmod and nothing. I'm going to try to disable all extra mods in obmm... Heeeeeeelp...
Shadowcran
Did you 'click on" the cmpartners.esp and cm partners.esm?
Splortched
Did you 'click on" the cmpartners.esp and cm partners.esm? Indeed. Everything is enabled in OBMM. I installed alot at once... but it should work! Wtf, mate?
Splortched
Ok, found the obmm conflict tool and found I had some conflicts... Anyway to make a log of this so I can post it?
myrmaad
Ok, found the obmm conflict tool and found I had some conflicts... Anyway to make a log of this so I can post it? Conflicts aren't necessarily bad. Almost every mod will have some conflict with the vanilla Oblivion Master, because it changes something. Any change will be regarded as a conflict. What would actually be more helpful is two things: You post your load order, which you can get by clicking the bottom right button on the right side of your obmm screen and then export load order. It will create a document which you can save by clicking on the little diskette icon at the top. Secondly, do a search for CM Partners in this forum because people have often had this problem before and it turned out that they didn't read the readme documents properly, therefore had not put all the required plugins into their data folder. Shadowcran
Did you sort it into the correct load order? Use this to auto sort your load orders: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516 If you plan to use more and more mods, you might want to check into using Wrye Bash. http://wrye.ufrealms.net/Wrye%20Bash.html OBMM is good for a starter, but as you progress, you'll need Wrye Bash. Splortched
K... Here is my load order: Oblivion.esmCM Partners.esmKT_CustomRaceFix.esp_Ren_BeautyPack_full.espVA_BetterGold.espCM Partners.espGG_Valeria.espTamara.espAliyah.espDAIsrithr.espAdult_BookStore.espDAClair.espDAValeriaCuteElf.espDARaewyn.espDAKaleah.espDAFeria.espkgt_Aida.espBoots Of The Jumper.espAdventurer's Home.espAltura Superiores Manor.espColourwheels Sexy Dance Club.espNatural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Weather_HDR_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Water_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Vegetation_by_Max_Tael.esp I went through those readme's like... twice. I'll double check just in case I pulled a noob move and accidently did something retarded. I'm gonna check out Wyre Bash, too. Methinks that there is one model that's messing up the rest... Splortched
Oh... and I'll see about sorting my load order. BTW, kudos for the help.
Splortched
Ok. Checked the sort order and everything looks good. Installed Wyre Bash... and set full balo. Annnnd... still nothing. Now I'm also missing textures for various female eyes and weapons... along with ears.
bben46
From the CM Partners Readme: "To play the mod without any work, at least three files must be activated: CM Partners.esm, CM Partners.esp, and at least one of the NPC esp files, either plain or NE, but not both, unless you want twice the NPCs. To do so will cause sets of twins to appear in the Imperial City, or wherever Partner NPCs are found and may cause conflicts. " I don't see one of the CM Partners NPC.esp files from the CM Partners mod in your list. Also, from the FAQ 8.“I can’t find any Partner NPC’s ingame at all. Where are they?”Please read the Readme file included with the mod. You have to activate the following files at the very least to have NPC’s in the game: CM Partners.esm, CM Partners.esp, and CM Partners NPC.esp. You can also add CM Partners More NPCs.esp which is a separate download. And you can create your own mod with custom NPC’s and add it also. And download NPC mods created by others.
