ProfessorCup
I've been playing with some difficulty mods lately and have noticed an increase in cinematic kills being performed on myself. I've never enjoyed being killed in this fashion as many times it happens when I have >50% of my health where I could have survived if this function hadn't taken over my fate. I was wondering if someone could create a mod that makes it impossible to receive cinematic kills until the player is at <10% health or the Enemy Weapon Damage>Player Health. Sorry if I'm being short in my explanation but I did type out a longer request only to have it deleted. Any possibilities?
Deleted1308005User
Dance of Death has that option? I'm not fully sure though, but I recommend checking it out.
ProfessorCup
I just installed it and found it does have a 'player killmove immunity' option which is great, thanks. I didn't find anything myself as I searched "Cinematic Kill" instead of "Kill moves."
Derok
Cinematic are cool to see, and well animated, but sadly really broken. As you said cinematics are totally random, there's no way to avoid them. When they are triggered, you are dead, it also applies for enemies. Death cinematics should be triggered when an hit is successful, and not before! So you and the enemies actually have the chance to avoid them. Depending from the body part hit, and the type of attack, different things could happen. If I perform a powered side slash on the neck of an enemy, for example, I expect to behead him. Also they are really immersion breaking. In fact, you feel like your character is killing the enemy, and not you. It feels really bad, expecially when you randomly switch to third person.
