blobbybag
I have to create custom armor for college. When i get into the game, the arms of my cuirass are warped. I followed all the tutorials, and cannot see the problem. The textures are fine, as i use them on other objects. I have only the master file and the esp to for my armor loaded. The armor looks fine in blender and nifskope too.I've been at this for days, checking the tutorials' fine print and looking through the forums, but i cany even find anyone with the same problem.please help me :wallbash: here's a screenie http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/3862/screenshot4zc4.png

Often, the mesh can become broken because the normal map is not saved in the correct format. Just because you can use the texture somewhere else fine doesn't mean that it always works well for armor. blobbybag
I've checked the normal maps, it looks right, i even tried one of the native textures from oblivion. it still loks weird. Any more he;p would be appreciated
Vagrant0
Yes, the texture might look fine, it might even show fine in nifscope, but when you look at it in game or in the CS, it will have things missing, positioned wrong, or warped. Try saving the file under a different .dxt format, or try changing the .dds settings. The only thing other than this is if you weighted the mesh wrong. blobbybag
Weights look fine, again i followed the tutorial. The normals are ok too. has anyone else encountered this problem, and do you have a solution?
