Trypal7
How do I do this? I already know how to extract the sounds that I want to edit from the BSA's. Open them with Audacity and get the sounds to my liking, (amplified as much as it can be before the distortion and clipping start. Add or take away any reverb or delay etc)Then replace the stock sounds with them. Easy enough there, but what I need to know is How I can turn the volume way up. Please help me out :/ Edited May 4, 2013 by Trypal7
jazzisparis
I don't know if you're aware, or already have tried it, but if you're only looking to increase the volume, then that sort of thing can be done directly from the GECK - simply adjust the static attenuation for each sound entry. There's no need to edit the actual audio files. Edited May 5, 2013 by jazzisparis
Trypal7
Ty. I did end up doing what you said- and have also found that to much of a good thing can be bad lol. I used a recording of a quarter stick (big m-80 really) and tweaked it for the frag grenade and set the static atten up, it thumps the floor now :) Feeling gun shots thump in the chest and feet with the 5.1 and twin 10" subs in the corner with the corner desk and a 32" hd ....It's all good thanks again
