KyRiKuS
This mod will rebuild the whole game, into a style more in line with the Metal Gear Solid series. Along with a new storyline, countless new areas, cutscenes and videos, there will be a multitude of new weapons, characters, stealth suits and other armor types, not to mention the plot twists that MGS has always been famous for. At the moment, we're looking for a full team of developers, to help with the creation of new meshes, textures, weapons, sounds, etc. The game will be completely voice-acted, and unlike the MGS storyline that has already been closed, will include far more in the way of nuclear assault and threat. Thanks in advance for all ideas, suggestions, and thoughts. If you're interested in joining the team, send me a message or email me at <[email protected]>. EDIT:: After playing with the engine for a while, and realizing just how much work true cutscenes would actually be, I have decided to either 1) leave them out, or 2) move this project to the Source engine. I will still make the weapon and armor mod to the best of my ability, and will hopefully upload them before third quarter (but, as everyone knows, games usually don't come out when they're supposed to). Any and all help will still be gladly appreciated.
Grimmjow0006
This sounds great but I wouldn't want a complete overhaul. But if you could release a separate pack of just weapons That would be great.

KyRiKuS
I think that that would be a good starting place, as well as altering the sneaking system to allow for true "sneaking" missions. I'll post up and upload as soon as something is finished. The questline may still be possible, but I think I'll wait until my English professor friend to look at the storyline and such before I do anything with that. Thanks for the input, it will be put to good use!

Cotes
I don't see a problem with complete overhaul, other than that it takes helluva long time. I'd actually like to see stand-alone mods, a sort of short new stories outside the actual F3, if you will. But if you want to start somewhere, do something about Sneaking first. Its's just broken and useless for fighting before you max it out, and even the it's hard as hell (mostly works only for sniping from long distances)... I love the stealth armor OA for that reason - it makes sneaking actually a valid tactic. Few ideas to improve it:- Some sort of lag before the caution mode starts after being spotted, so that you can jump out from behind corners and get that sneak attack. At the moment I can pull it off only very randomly.- No telepathy. It's pretty unclear to me how the enemies alert each other of you presence, but it needs to be less punishing. How 'bout some timer after the alert mode begins, which represents the time you have to kill the enemy that has spotted you to avoid alerting his/her companions? - Actually make silenced and non-silenced weapons different? Seems pretty irrelevant for me what I use.- Do something about the time AIs sometimes keep looking for you in caution (honestly, sometimes it seems indefinetetly).- Some sort of stealth meter to show how well hidden you are.. Basically it would change according to your movement and the level of lightness.- Somehow make it possible to have you stealth status shown even when not crouching. A new perk perhaps.
