bben46
Every time you add a mod it increases the probability of finding one that is incompatible. If you use many, eventually you will find a problem. However, there are work arounds, such as load order and patches. If an author knows of any incompatibilities they will usually put the info in their readme. Some mods, especially the better ones require OBSE (oblivion script extender) or the latest Official patch, or some other mod to work. I recommend both OBSE and OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) for beginners. Then as you become more comfortable with manipulating mods BOSS, (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) which creates a recommended load order. And Wrye Bash which has a good set of troubleshooting tools. For the most popular mods, check the top 100 list.
