cross462 Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 My idea is to have it when you click the zoom button with no weapon, you would zoom out considerably father. The screen would change to resemble you looking through a pair of Binoculars. Think COD 4 Binocular zoom, for those of you who played it. The Binoculars could be an item that you have to equip before being able to use them. I thought this would be a great idea, allowing you to zoom out to see what danger lies ahead with the click of a button, rather then equipping the sniper rifle to zoom out. SangRahl Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Maybe not binocs, but there is a working form of this concept up, already...'The Telescope' It has a pretty extreme FOV shift, but it certainly fits well for a looking glass (every one I've used in real life was like this... no 'moderate' zoom when using old-school optics).
