kushi1up
Well, Oblivion was working just fine for the first few weeks I owned it, but then an inconvenient problem occurred. Every time the game switches to a new music track, the game freezes for about a minute (the time varies) until it continues again. This isn't too much of a problem when walking around the landscape, but every time a battle occurs it takes too long (usually longer than other music) for the battle music to load. Anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it or at least what might be causing it? (It also occurs for Morrowind)
dezdimona
well you can always shut the music off completely, and gain some FPS. have you updated your drivers lately?Degraged lately?done a harddrive clean?try those things also.
kushi1up
Turning the sound off still caused the game to freeze even when the music wasn't playing. So I removed all of the music files and the game works fine, but it isn't the same without music and simply playing music in the background from another program isn't satisfying when I want the music to change when transitioning from exploration to battle...
