Eliminating ESP/ESM dependency

I opened my mod using another mod to check something and accidentally saved it. Now it says my mod is dependent on the other to run. To avoid blowing up people's games when they download it, what do I need to do to get rid of this?

Thanks. For some reason GECK has The DLC set to autoload whenever I'm trying to load my file. I keep forgetting to turn them off and after working on my mod for an hour BOOM reliant on HonestHearts, Lonesome road, etc. FNVedit deleted all masters but the main DLC and the ones I actually need. Any way to get rid of these? FNVedit doesn't seem to work Edited by TziporaHalevi

Delete all the .NAM files from the 'Data' folder to prevent this from happening.

'Clean Masters' only removes masters that none of their records were changed and/or are referenced by your file. If a master was not removed, then your file probably uses it in some way.

Probably your check is yet a record which belongs to both mods now and makes the dependancy.

Delete the record from the mod which don't need it. Best in FNVEdit just by pressing the delete button (But of course be sure that you don't delete an important reord )

Try to clean the masters afterwards again.
