I guess I was mistakenas I recall I havent even touched the skyrim.iniand I have read/watched tutorials on how to improve the stability of Skyrim using BOSS and cleaned the "dirty mods" usingTES5edit only thing I havent mastered is Wyre Bash hopefully Gophervids will have a tut soon ;)any suggestions on how to fix things @prod80 ? If you know your game to be stable outside of Helgen then...You should just try and run the Helgen scene with just your gameplay overhaul mods (eg. SkyRe) or other mods which specifically state on the mod page they have to be active from game start to work properly. Then just run through the scene, through the cave and when you enter Skyrim the first time, make a save, exit game -> activate your other mods (textures, actor mods, etc) ... if you have to change your apperance (characters skins, hair, etc) just open console and type 'showracemenu' to edit whatever you wanna change, if using ApachiiHair you might have to do this indoor unless you have the addon which doesnt try and load ALL your hairs. Ill get back to you but for now I shall play through the helgen scene and make it to Riverwood or any Vanilla area and reinstall mods.Would you have any suggestions as to how much mods I should run or is 50-60 mods good enough ? Anyway just take a gander at that guide there and see if vanilla game works fine and then slowly add mods I suggest installing mods like the unoffical patches first before anything else as well. Also, I know others say to clean mods but I find that cleaning some mods can cause issues so do check comments and such to see if the mod really does need cleaning or not.
