Hi everyone.

Ive installed wrye bash 4 fallout 3 but somehow i cant drag any mods in rar format into the installer section.

I can launch the program but no matter what i do i only see a blocking icon when i try dragging mods to install them.

Please help my hair is getting grey. Im running windows 7 64 bit (ultimate)

Ahhh thats why; So this means i can only use a handful of Bainready mods.

By the way can you convert other mods to be bain ready ?? And one more question can you use FOMM along with WRYE .

Im beginning to get the hang of modding, But fallout 3 is so much more complex to mod than oblivion and when your native language is not english its a jungle out there understanding all these terms :turned:

Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

Yes but i never got the hang of it  I think there are Oblivion related tutorials available somewhere.

Sure, you can

Nice thanks.

Dont know if you got the time but could you provide me with a quick explanation how to make fallout 3 really stable.

I wish I could  Mostly it depends on your System, used Mods and (unfortunately) Luck.

Well, my last play-through ended over 3 Years ago, but here a few things I do remember:

Check out this Guide, especially that part about the multi-core fix.

Other things to consider:

- Always install outside of the ProgramFiles directory, especially when modding a game

- turn off all In-game auto-save functions, use CASM instead (always worked for me)

- Don't use quick-saves. Both quick- and auto-saves can cause save-game corruption (Major Issue in Oblivion, also valid for Fallout3)

- Before adding any mods, make sure the vanilla game works, that means play at least until you enter the outside world for the first time.

- Don't add a bunch of mods at the same time, test after each one

- Sort your load-order with BOSS and keep your merged (or bashed) patch up to date

Other tools which might help:

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/6510/?

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8886/?

Hope this helps a bit
