Help and a question? DAMM

Hi I've recently downloaded the DAMM and NBaio. I cannot get the bodies to show up in game. The mm appears to be installed correctly. Nbiao appears to have installed correctly. Drug and drop, configured, all's well. Start the game, nothing but the default body. It's like the mod isn't making it to the game at all. Sounds to me like a pathing issue? As far as I can tell, they're where there supposed to be. NBaio is in my override folder. Other mods work, but I've run them thru NMM. Could that be a problem? I read in the article " Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies " That you can only use 1 chargen file. Nmm uses one from what I can see. (see Attachment) Any help I can get before I proceed further would really help. After a day and a half of trying and failing, I'm sufferring from frustration and brain fog. lol If I can provide more info let me know. Thanks!

I've never used Nexus Mod Manager, so I don't know anything about the chargenmorphcfg folder it created, but I can tell you that the chargenmorphcfg.xml file does not affect anything regarding the nude body models used in the game. The chargenmorphcfg.xml file is only used by the game during character creation, to determine what cosmetic options are available at that time.

More to the point of your query, I'm confused by the two NBaio folders in your screencap: NBaio and Natural bodies all in one 3-0-554.

I've been using NBaio for years, and when it installs, it only adds one folder to override: NBaio. Where is the second folder in your override (Natural bodies all in one 3-0-554) coming from and what does it contain?

They both contain the same meshes, textures and their values. The one marked Natural bodies, has a manifest and a longer file path to the meshes. Could that be why the new bodies don't show in game? NMM I mostly use for Skyrim, FO4, and Witcher 3. But it is supposed to support DAO. But I didn't realize DAO was a manual mod game. I'm still kinda new at this.

NBaio uses a type of mod package that can only be installed with DAO-ModManager. Having duplicates of the files in override is likely what is keeping the mod from working, even after configuration.

I'd remove both instances of the mod (DAO-MM installed version, and NMM installed version) to eliminate any possibility of conflicts, and then reinstall and configure with DAO-ModManager. (Detailed instructions for installing NBaio.)

YES!!!!!! Finally it works!!!! Thank you TSM!!! No more weird looking rib cage!!!! Although I had reloaded it many times before, I had apparently missed a file to delete. Frustration perhaps? lol I was extra through this time and found it. It was in the games override folder. I followed the steps given in the article you sent. And viola, works! Thank you again. Kudos to you my friend!
