Not Sure How To Make A Condition For A Trait

I'm on my way to making a mod that adds a butt load of traits to the game that make your character a little more personal. I am adding a joke one thats called Family History, which makes you take less head damage while opponents take more head damage, but I am having a little problem doing this. I looked at the Center of Mass perk as an example since it is sort of similar. The only entry it has is



Calculate Weapon Damage - Multiply Value - 1.15



I don't see anything else in there. How does it know that you are targeting torsos in vats? So I guess my question would be how do I make the game know when you are or when you are not targeting a head in vats and how to make the player take less head damage?

I dont see any conditions in there. I'll have to check again.

Yah, I don't see any conditions except the fact that you need 70 guns to get the perk. I didn't see that earlier. When looking through the conditions myself, the closest thing I found is Targeted Part which has things like brain condition end endurance condition. Not what I want.

I just looked up center of mass. The condition your looking for is getvatsvalue.

The body parts have strange name. Legs are mobility condition, arms are attack condition etc.

 

Just reread your OP and saw the other half you want. I can't think of a way to add dt just to the head though. Sorry

Oh no, I don't want to add DT. I want to reduce damage which I'm sure can be done with damage multiplier. At any rate, My GECK does not show that condition and I do not know why.

Ah! I see now! All the tabs were squished over to the left. I see it now...
