Are we alone in the universe?

The shirt was cool, but it doesnt prove that an armada of death ships is approaching us at this very moment to end our pitiful existance.

They don't want to end our pitiful existance, they just want to destroy Earth to make way for a new Intergalactic Highway.

youre right, that does imply that they give a damn about US.

I believe in the bible, and if there were extraterrestrial life, god would've told us.

No, really...

there would be no point in not telling us.

There are other reasons (biblical) but that's a lot to explain...(PM me for further

details)

yeah, there woudnt be a point in not telling us, but there wouldnt be a point in telling us either. and maybe there IS a point in not telling us, one that we dont comprehend because we arent god.

well considering how much we know about sub atomic particles, its quite possible that there is life somewhere out there.

If we only know that electrons are in fields which are not fixed and those fields are only areas that there is chance of electrons to pass through, then there could be WAY more to learn about the outer limits of our universe.

AND if space is unlimited, then theoretically there is a 100% chance of life because adn infinite amount of planets means an infinite chance of finding life.

Yesh, and infinitie times zero equals absolute zero, so had we not been born with brains large enough to comprehend this, then we wouldnt know much less care about life on other planets, and therefore they wouldnt exist

and thats only assuming that space is infinite AND were stupid. since were SMART, and space is theoretically infinite, its technically infinite, in which case im rambling on about s*** that I dont even KNOW about!

Well you're right...

In fact it's impossible to know...

but i still don't believe that there are aliens :)

yeah, I dont believe there are aliens that came HERE. Cause, just look at all the alleged abductions (stolen from a standup comic, I forget his name). Its never a black guy, or a hispanic guy, or some asian accounting big wig, no... its allways some dumb cracker, in the middle of no where. [Done in redneck accent-->] "I was bound and abducted by two aliens, who disguised themselves to look like my buddies Brad and Duke. I was taken on board there ship, made to look like the back of Duke's Pickup. They took me to the mothership, where I was anally probed. Their alien language sounded like human giggling."

god forbid this really happened... Hey, if someone remembers the standup's name, give them credit please.

Hey, how come most people think that if there are aliens, they are either like 5.000 times more advanced than us, or they are like simple maggots or something? What if there are actually aliens, but they are less advanced than us? There is this theory that there are multiple solar systems that are exactly the same. Like, 100 million lightyears away, there is this planet just like ours, and it has surrounding planets just like ours. Maybe, they are at the stoneage by now, maybe, the time over there is 16.14, Thursday 22 of April, 1567? And what if there are aliens at our planet right now, what if they've been here for 5.000 years? They may have taken shapes that our minds wouldn't understand, therefore, we look at them, but we don't see them.

uh i think we already covered that sort of thing above...

anyway heres a completely different spin. did you ever think that our universe is so huge and full of so many combinations that there may actually be other humans out there? think about it. there is near infinate potential for a near infinate number of races, and in turn there most undoubtedly has to have some repitition. wouldnt it be fascinating to meet someone geneticly the same species as us but from another galaxy? and to study eachothers planetary and human history, given they're bound to be completely different, oh man thats really deep sh*t there huh?

any comments? i think its quite an intriguing theory.

I recomend the Area 51 books which I have read all of, it covers that theory in a very different and original way... btw who else has read those books and what do you think of its veiws as far as alien involvment in human history and the nature of our species and theirs.
