Stalhrim as it was meant to be.

So thanks to Dragonborn, I recently decided to replay Morrowind. This time around, I chose to play as a Nord (I had always been a Dark Elf in the past due to the nature of the MQ). There I am, running around on Solstheim, and naturally I wind up getting my hands on a set of Stalhrim armor; perfect for my Nord.

And I am immediately struck by how much cooler its appearance is in Bloodmoon, compared to the Stalhrim items we find in Dragonborn.

See, in both games, the lore is very clear - Stalhrim is not like normal ice. Instead, it behaves much like ebony, and like ebony, it is forged. However, despite the fact that this is explicitly stated by the Skaal smith who actually teaches you how to work with Stalhrim, all of the items using it are clearly produced using the method known as knapping (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knapping). Even worse, this has been done so badly that it implies the smith who produced the items in question really should find another job.

So the request I want to make is this: bring back the Stalhrim armor as it was in Morrowind! Stalhrim is a sacred material which can only be worked by the finest of smiths, and to see it turned into rough slabs bolted together with what appears to be iron (though the recipe calls for quicksilver), dull leather and cheap fur is just plain wrong.

Below is a picture for reference.

what is supposed to be the best armor with DB DLC, it's ugly aswell. I'm waiting for Cabal to work on it. I'm sure he will rebirth this armor.

Yeah, that'd be awesome - him and Millennia do some kick-ass work with textures. I mean, I don't know if this is the kind of work that Cabal would do, but if it is... yeah, just awesome.
