It has MANY problems which cannot be overcome. All it is currently is a way to have a friend appear in your game as an NPC with some very limited capabilities. There is no real sync between the computers so things like health, location, or activities may not be the same at the same times for everyone. The project has been stopped, picked back up, and as far as I know, is stopped once again, and has been dead for atleast a few months.

All of them still had the same fundamental problems that I mentioned above in addition to some minor issues. Although the engine Oblivion uses can be made to support multiplayer the game itself is designed specifically only around a single player character. Guest
The order of the mods is as follows:MultiTES4: Started in early 2006. Site is still up if you Google it (don't go to the forums, it's just lewd spam).OblivionOnline: Started Late 2007. Seems to be doing well. Can be found at OblivionOnline.comOblivionReborn: Created July 2008 as the result of increased conflict between members of the development team. Found at Qwerty-Games.com. (And no, we didn't steal anyone's code, we started over). As far as which one is best? MultiTES4 has been dead for quite a while (that's why OblivionOnline started), and I have a biased opinion, so I'll let you decide for yourself. I'll just say that OblivionReborn focuses on quality, professionalism, and treating our members well. QD P.S. @ Vagrant0: I really like the first line of your sig.
