How do i know which options change which weapon properties in the geck

I want to try to make a mod. Obviously i want to start small but what do all of the options mean like the weapon effects and the crit effects. For example their are weapon effects like the lakelurk scream so what does it do? Does it give the weapon that specific attack or does it just make the weapon scream?
