Kataura Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 I have looked around for "how to create textures" and such, but unless I'm going right passed them, I haven't seen anywhere to help with my problem that will tell me how to save _n.dds texture files. With the .dds normal textures I saved them as: DXT3 ARGB 8 bpp explicit alpha, and they work perfectly (as skins) but however, the _n.dds files seem to "not fit" correctly on a body mesh when saved in the same manner. maYuYang Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Hi there Kataura, how are you?Well, for your problem, try saving them as DXT5 without mipmaps(prior to that, you shouldn't import them into Photoshop with mipmaps, deactivating them solved countless issues I had). You can then try to export them with mips, but I'm not sure it that'll work. Tbh, I usually do not change any settings with the Nvidia plugin except for the DXT and no mipmaps, the rest as default should actually work.
