Morrowind GOTY vs Fable

you can read my little piece about fable (post-play of course) here. you cant blame it on being rushed out either, those goth brits must have just been having weekly bong parties at office meetings for the past five years.

 

a few added things. armor/player size relations are off [<edit: nonexistant] (mw had that wrapped up) and the weapons were unimaginative and repetitive (but still they looked mo crunk than mw's). the fight system kicks mw's ass all over the road. and at least you can make your guy way more custom than morrowind. also the pace of the story in fable was waaaay too fast after i beat the main quest and the secondary (silver) quests in under 14 hrs. morrowinds length is waaay too slow, or maybe its just because the graphics and sound are bland compared to Fable's.

 

but overall id still choose Fable over mwgoty cuz of the 'new' factor, and because now that im done with 'me' in the game i can expirament with theme characters. (which reminds me i havent finished with my uberWarlockGod in mw) and a few other things im way too lazy now to get into now. and cuz i think if i have to play mw again im gonna blow chunks. (ugh... maybe ill not be finishing that vampMageTerrorist after saying that)

I just got Fable and haven't been able to put it down... it won my vote for that reason. The world is amazing, combat is WAY better then morrowind, grapics are better, story is cool, interaction is better then morrowind (in some ways)... and it's addictive. My morrowind play time has gone down alot because of this game (and so has my social life) but i am still a hardcore morrowind player... morrowind will always be a great game but, right now, fable is better.
