Mreggiardo
Well my question is simple.I've a Character, i finish the main quest and continue playing with the Mod, i made a los of ide quest , with a fallout without mods, so you can get i reach level 20. So i put the continue playing.. and i reach leven 26. now i want to continue playing, but the world is'nt challenge any more.. and I don;t want to start a new character and start all over again. So i want to make the game more challenge changing my stats, putting my character on let;s say level 15, or level 10..keep al my game, known places, quests and gear.. my house, friends, allies , etc..But I want to downgrade my character. Is there a mod that let you do that? Best regads to you allMariano
Terkul
My suggestion is to get a mod that increases the xp needed to level. I'm not sure if this will work, or its effect on the game but it should cause you to lose some levels and for things to change again. Make sure you get a mode that increases the xp per level and not one that reduces experience gained. If you cant find anything i can send you a mod that i made that will double the exp needed per level and will hopefully cut your level in half. PimpBot420
You don't need a mod to accomplish that, assuming you can use the console, that is.Open the console by tying ~Enter text: player.forceav stat #where "stat" is the stat you want to modify, such as: strength smallguns intelligence etcand "#" is the new value you want that stat to have. For example, if you want to set your strength to 6, type: player.forceav strength 6If you want your big guns skill set to 55, type: player.forceav bigguns 55 If you want to go one further and actually lower your level, type: player.setlevel #So, to make yourself level 15, type: player.setlevel 15 I haven't tried changing my level, so I'm not sure what happens to your experience points. I don't know if they get reduced or not when you lower your level. Either way, make sure you make a save before you start adjusting values... it's easy to wreck or unbalance a character. I hope this helps.
zip2k4
I have encountered problems when i use forceav hence i use forceav only on NPCs [i.e. Moira repair 100] I recommend player.setav command on console than forceav and for level you can use player.setlevel If the game isn't interesting anymore, try using realism mod, mine isn't uploaded yet and there's still fixes to be made. I recommend using other realism mod. the idea of realism mod is making the wasteland more challenging so hopefully that fill in the purposes you are looking for. if you don't feel like using realism mod, i think there's mod that increases the amount of enemies in the wasteland as you go up in levels. otherwise... i guess start playing other games for a while... Really the game is great for me, but if yo do all the quest and explore all the lands, with vanilla fallout3, you level too fast. When mods start to appears i just almost finish the main quest and have 90% of the map cleanwell that;s really the problem Now the ideo of just start a new game and made everything again.. doesn;t like me very much, so i prefer to downgrade my char. So thank you again...
