Cursedobjects
Hello. So I'm still somewhat inexperienced with modding in its entirety. I haven't touched many aspects of the kit; however, I am having a real issue lately with items linking together on the grid. Like walls, won't snap onto the same grid. Like I would have to manually unclick Q and use ZXC to move it into the position I want. The thing is, this started happening randomly and IDK why it's doing this? I use the LE version of the CK btw. I haven't changed the ini files or changed the preferences recently, so I'm wondering what you have it under? On that same topic, the preferences don't stay the same, like every time I load up the kit, the changes I made to it to make it work are changed to the old unworking settings. Please help me with this because this is driving me up a wall, and it's making it near impossible to make house mods since nothing is snapping correctly. I've googled and looked at everything that someone suggested, firstly to halve the number (didn't work - had to change it to 1 to make it malleable) I tried so I have no idea but to set the settings on the preferences to someone else's settings to see if that works. Here are the settings it starts at:Grid Snap: 64Angle Rotation: 45Movement Speed: 1.00Rotation Speed: 1.00Arrow Speed: 64Primitive Scale Movement: 1.00No Snap To Reference SelectedWorld Gizmo Orientation is unchecked
maxarturo
I can't really help you here, since im from those lucky ones that have never encountered issues with CK, exempt from the known stupid issues... But: - Run CK as "Administrator", this will allow CK to keep the settings you adjust. - The 'Snap to Grid' will glitch after working for a few hours and you need to restart CK, so that the "Meshes Alignment" (Snap to Grid) can work correctly again, to me it usually happens after 8 hours of continuous work. But not always, it may or it may not happen. * To align / link together meshes like walls you always need to work with "Snap to Grid" and "Snap to Angle" turned on.
