Help with tweaking First Person anims?

Hello, I wanted to ask advice on changing hand/finger placement on the foregrip of weapons using Nifskope and or Blender. I would like to make it so that the thumb goes along the length of the foregrip, rather than trying to fully wrap his/her thumb and fingers around it in first/third person view. I feel that it would look more pleasing to the eye and would also help with clipping on a lot of custom weapons. I'm a beginner when concering the editing of .nif's and .kf's, so I just wanted advice on where to get started. Or if someone just wanted to do it themselves, that would be neat too.

Hi Johny, I didn't want to reply right away, in case someone more knowledgeable than I could help you. I'm a beginner in this area, but I'v picked up a few pointers. You'll want to pick the closest grip (I believe they all have alpha prefixes IIRC) and your going to make a animation replacer in blender. There are a lot of keyframe (kf's) tutorials out there as well as general blender animations. I don't think or I should say I don't know of a way that you could achieve the same effect via nifskope. Since your beginning with a animation that is fairly close, you should have a heck of a lot less work than building a animation from scratch. All you'll have to do is tweak a few finger bones.
