LHeureBleue Posted April 16, 2021 Share Posted April 16, 2021 (edited) i guess it's a testament to the stability of SSE that I'm shocked and concerned to have found a glitch after 4-5 years of stable playthroughs. I had a random dragon attack recently, the kind which cleans up their corpses immediately after you leave the area. But this time, the dead dragon is still there after a week or two of in-game time. Does anyone know why this glitch might have happened? I did uninstall a few mods recently (I know: never uninstall mods mid-game), so I'm worried it might have destabilised my save. Noone has found a solid fix for it yet, it seems to occur when the game thinks you did not absorb the dragon soul yet. This is a failsafe they put in to prevent the player from not absorbing the dragon soul of the first dragon (thus breaking the main quest)Just walk up to the dragon, open the console, click on the dragon corpse and type disable.
