Stupid GECK Question

I know this is likely a foolish question but how do I "pull up" the render window? I think that is what it is called. The window that allows you to see interior and exterior spaces. I used to be able to get the geck view of Doc Mitchel's house, but now when I go to the cell view window and double click on any interior/exterior space there is no viewing window available. If memory serves (and it rarely does) there was a 4th window that normally popped open when I started the geck. Now I only have the main window the object view window and the cell view window. I must of hidden that other window somehow and now I cannot find it.

Jaege - Hello!

Yes, there should be a window called "Render Window".

Odd though because even when closed out it should pop up when you next open GECK.

Go to "View" at the top of GECK & select "Render Window", that should bring it up.

Also make sure the Render Window has not been shrunken & ended up hidden bwhind one of the other windows as GECK will remember the last place windows where when it was closed. It may be there but hidden.

EDIT: If that still does not work reset yor GECK by deleting your GECKPrefs.ini that's in your:

Documents\My Games\FalloutNV

(Just corrected that to the NV GECK).

That's the GECKPrefs.ini you want not the normal Fallout 3 .ini.

Make sure you've closed GECK BEFORE deleting the .ini.

GECK should remake it when you launch again only now with the default settings & render windiow back.

Hope this helps!

Jaege - Hello!

"When I checked in the view tab, the render window was not checked, and I could not check it."

Oddly that seems to be normal, it's unticked in my GECK too but the Render window is displayed.

The other windows can be turned off & on though.

"Your alternate suggestion did work though. Thanks."

Happy to have helped! :)
