aaasssdddwww Posted April 16, 2021 Share Posted April 16, 2021 I'm playing heavily modded Skyrim on mod organizer. MO is located in steam/Skyrim folder. Today I went to try something so I installed Skyrim SE and Mod Organizer 2. I installed MO2 in Skyrim SE folder. I kept those two completely separated. 2 game folders Skyrim and Skyrim SE, 2 versions of MO. Old MO with skyrim and MO2 with Skyrim SE. I ran Skyrim SE from MO2 and everything worked with no problem. When I later ran Skyrim from MO and try to load game I got message that "save game depends on mod no longer avaliable"...blah blah. All mods are of course active as I didn't touch anything in MO that runs skyrim but obviously something messed up with it's instances. I tried to load game anyway and surprisingly it didn't crash. But it threw me from Solitude where game is saved into tavern in Riverrun and all mods reload like I'm starting new game. What the hell did I do? And is there anyway to fix it? I assume that installing MO2 probably screwed some ini file or something. I uninstalled MO2 but that didn't help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aaasssdddwww Posted April 16, 2021 Author Share Posted April 16, 2021 Ignore this thread I found the problem. I installed new mod into Skyrim and I breach maximum allowed number of esp/esm files.
