Can't install any of the weather mods

I have never encountered this problem before but I simply can't install any of the weather mods without my SE crashing when I try to open my "dummy" save to check the mod stability. The game works fine until I introduce the weather mod into the mix and whole thing comes crashing down.

 

This is my current load before the weather mod, nothing else is installed after it.

Try saving in the qasmoke cell and then loading the save with the weather mod afterwards.
