NPC makeover changes not working :(

I went into the CK and did a little editing to Silda the Unseen, to clean her up a little bit and make her, well... not so ugly, utilizing the Character Gen Parts and Morphs tabs.

Saved it as a new ESP and even made the same changes specific to my unposted (for now) Skyrim of Nudistine mod. Yet, in either that or the separate esp, having activated them in the data file list, there's no change.

 

Is there a step that I'm missing to finalize the changes?

If you made a new esp, did you place Silda in the world space?

So... it's not enough to just edit the character and save it? You have to delete the "old" one from the world space and re place it?

ok... I've done some variable things, from using the console in game to delete her then respawn with Player.placeatme command, to deleting her and saving the game, to deleting her from Candlehearth hall... saved... then replaced her using CK, and nothing seems to work... she looks the way I want her in the CK, but in game... the changes aren't there.

 

Need help here... what am I doing wrong here?

Here is what I did and it worked. I went into CK and cleaned Silda. I saved to the ESP without putting the cleaned on into the world space. I found her hanging around the murdered scene. All changes were apparent, clean face and changed face tint. She wasn't pretty but she was clean.
