Skyrim CTD -- No idea what's causing it

I have a number of mods installed, but I have no idea which might be causing the CTD. This happens randomly throughout the game -- sometimes I play 30 minutes, sometimes, 45, but haven't gotten a good solid hour in for a while. I've cleaned my main Update, Dawnguard, Hearthfires, and Dragonborn ESMs and use BOSS, but I'm still crashing.

 

Any help is appreciated

One thing that jumps out right away is that you are using Purewaters and Waters together, this is bound to cause a conflict. Personally I would put COT and RLO a lot higher in the load order right after your last ESM. Though we don't necessarily use all the same mods, I don't have any problems with CDT's.

No, they shouldn't. Like I said, I don't use a lot of your mods but, something is causing a major conflict. I suggest you make a save as soon as the game starts and use it to test disabling mods. It will take some time but eventually you will find the one that is causing the problem. Then you can get rid of it, re-enable your other mods and go back to your regular save.

 

I really can't think of anything else.

Can you replace your load order with a BOSS log (with the messages)? Include the list of plugins not recognized by BOSS if one is generated. Enclose them all in spoiler tags so they don't clutter the screen.

I see lots of Papyrus-heavy mods here. Could be a case of Papyrus overload.

 

For random crashes as you travel along try:

You could try bumping up the fUpdateBudgetMS and fExtraTaskletBudgetMS settings under the [Papyrus] section of Skyrim.ini (located at C:\Users\*Name*\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\). If they aren't under you [Papyrus] section, feel free to add them. These are periodic pauses where the game literally freezes for a split second to allow the Papyrus VM to do it's thing. Setting them too high will cause stutter so 10 to 12 would be where I'd start on both. Then, if that increases stability, start bumping them back down 1-2 ms at a time until you find the "stability breakpoint" for your particular setup.

For crashes at loading screens/autosaves there's a couple of other settings that can be tweaked to rule out an issue with the Papyrus VM.

Thanks ... here's the log before I disabled the W.A.T.E.R.. If I ran it again, it would resort my COB and RLO mods.

Thanks MShoap13... What other kinds of mods are there, besides those written with Papyrus script? I'm not a modder, so just curious.

 

I just checked and don't currently have those parameters under my [Papyrus] section -- what are good default values? This is what I currently have (just added the new parameters):

I went through and cleaned my mods and added the necessary patches. I'll update as to whether the above suggestions worked.
