i'm getting ready to start a new character. i'm currently playing a level 46 power lifting hulk nord with bad breath. i effectively (without cheating or plugins) maxed all of his stats and am quite proud of him. heh, i actually retired his save so i don't get tempted to taint it with any plugins or anything :D

anyway, i'll be getting bloodmoon and tribunals soon and was wondering; are there new characters worth waiting for before i start my new character or should i just go ahead and start up on morrowind and then just add the expansions later.

btw - i'm looking to go with a low physical strength, mage/thief dark elf unless there is another character that would be better in one of the expansions.

the thread about favorite armor types is what set me off on this. i want to try to get through the game with no armor and as little physical conflict as possible.

thanx in advance ^_^

There is a recent thread that deals with characters without armour it might be worth checking it out.

There are no new races or faces added in the two expansions. Nor do you start differently. So you can go ahead and start the character now. Or start half a dozen and see which one you like best.

You can go to Solstheim (BM) from the beginning, though it would be near enough impossible to do more than a couple of initial quests. (It is intended for higher level characters).

Tribunal is also higher level, though it has more basic miscellaneous quests you can do at a low level. However with Tribunal there is a random element in how quickly you will be able to go to Mournhold. My extremes have been level one and level twelve, normally it's about three.

Hope this helps.
