hopecandecieve
I am trying to place a set of the stealth armor in my modded megaton house, but everytime I try to load both the basement mod and the anchorage mod, GECK says too many master files are boing loaded. Is there a way to either make my mod not a master file or export just the armor from the Anchorage mod? Any help would be appreciated.
MRG
Perhaps if you opened the mod that had the Sealth suit in Geck by itself, Add the suit to a container by itself & save it as a different mod name. Then load your modded house & the new save that had the container that had the suit & place the suit from the container that way? Thats how I do it for my own mods & while i'm sure it's prob a backwards way of doing things, it seems to work. -MRG
windwolf7
Using FOMM you can use the BSA Extractor to find the nif and dds for the stealth suit ans extract them. Then in your mod create a texture file for the armor, then create a new armor entry using the extracted nif with your new texture. This is how I extracted it since the DLC was giving me problems with my other mods but I still wanted the stealth suit. To find the nif, you sort by folder name since the the suit files are genericly named (I think the path was meshes/armor/dlcanchchinesestealthsuit ?). The DDS is easier to find if you sort by file name, and extract all the files that start with "chinesestealtharmor". This method leaves out the ench for the stealth suit but I had another ench that the same thing so I used that for the new armor. You also have to create addons for the gloves, a new formlist that puts the gloves and helmet( a separate armor entry, so leave out of the formlist if you want it separatly wearable) Sounds like a lot work, but once you get it down you add any armors you like so long as you have the Nif and matching dds files, in a few minutes each. I have added dozens of armors to my personal mod this way (including a customized Chinese stealth armor). I can go into more detail if you don't how to fully create the new armor, but for now I hope this helps. Just remember to save after each change, lest a crash force you to redo it! Oh and to edit formlists, press "delete" to remove items and drag and drop to add. Any other way will crash Geck.

hopecandecieve
I would really appreciate it if you could possibly give me a more detailed how-to, but obly if you are willing of course. I'm hoping for possibly a step by step kind of synopsis/summary, ya know? Any help I would massively appreciate.
