henkkaart Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Hello! First time poster here! First off, totally sorry if this has been posted here before. BACKGROUND:I have a problem with the conjuration spell "Forced Reanimation". I'm using several mods, most about graphics with few exceptions (such as SkyRe, Frostfall and "Realistic needs and diseases" + Deadly Dragons). I believe that the Forced Reanimation is one of the revamped spells from Skyrim Redone. It basically raises a zombie that lasts forever unless killed in battle or by the player. THE PROBLEM:There was a vampire attack in Whiterun. I got to the scene of the massacre afterwards and found out that 2 of the citizens of Whiterun had died, Olfina Gray-Mane (decapitated gruesomely) and a farmer by the name Severio Pelagia (body intact). Now I usually resurrect more fearsome zombies to fight for me but I had the urge to try and resurrect good mister Severio. He rose as a zombie soon after and then I headed outside of Whiterun city grounds (the murder scene was at the gates, inside Whiterun). However, Severio Pelagia didn't feel the need to spawn outside Whiterun (as far as I know) and I never saw him again. I didn't think much of it at the time since the spell is cancelled if I resurrect another zombie. But, and here comes the kicker, when I later resurrected another NPC, Severio was still under the influence of the Forced Reanimation, its timer ~999 days counting down. So, now I am in a situation where I basically have 2 zombies, one that follows me and usually dies/is cancelled when I resurrect the next and Severio, the nowhere man. I later returned to Whiterun to see if I found him anywhere but he is nowhere to be seen. I have his house key but there is no one there either. Sometimes I get similar situations with the generic NPC villain zombies as they get "stuck" behind a door-loading screen. It doesn't hinder my game really but since the Forced Reanimation is always ON the skill raises by itself all the time (I'm at around 20th level so far with this play-through and my conjuration level is almot 80 or so). It just annoys me that the bug basically makes me level up faster than I wanted (I'm trying to roleplay the game with the SkyRe settings and Frostfall etc. and it doesn't really fit the mood that where ever I go, mr. Pelagia's dead zombified corpse levels me up!). I tried the basic console commands "enable", "moveto player" and "prid" (to move Severio-zombie next to me so that I can re-kill him for good) but nothing has worked so far. I must also say that I am not that super when it comes to haxoring stuff with console commands and whatnot so I might have made a mistake somewhere. Also, if there is a generic conjuration cancellation command or such that I can use whenever a generic NPC gets stuck inside a dungeon or something so that I can "release" them from the spell. TL;DRSeverio Pelagia was killed, I Forced Reanimation-ed him --> he vanished as I stepped out of Whiterun and now remains as a conjuration when I check my active magic list. How to "release"/cancel that spell?
blacksupernova Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Try summoning a minion, turning into a werewolf, going to jail or type player.dispelallspells
Woudangst Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) I have been experiencing this problem myself for a while and the console command doesn't work. I tried summoning minions or reanimated other corpses and kill them myself but nothing seems to cancel out the active effect. Could anyone please let me know if there is a solution to this. Thank you ^^ [edit] Nevermind, i i just misspelled the console command. It did work, thank you very much Edited May 15, 2013 by Woudangst
NinjaPlatypus1805 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Resurrecting your player worked for me. just put player.resurrect in your console command. This will remove all active effects, however. You'll need to redo everything to get them back.
henkkaart Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 The console command player.dispelallspells worked for me with my initial problem, at least. I haven't encountered similar situations afterwards since I tend to choose the reanimation targets more wisely nowadays. Thanks for all for the help. Now this thread can itself be put to rest for forever.
