RIPTyler
Have never posted here but I need some help with ENB. I just started using Mod Organizer 2 for modding and have a good amount of mods set up. Early on I realized the only way I can actually use the mods in game is to launch the game through MO2 and they wouldn't load up when launching in steam. Then I installed Overgrowth ENB plus the file you get from the ENB site. I downloaded it like any ENB and when I launched through MO2, the ENB wasn't in the game (no white text on the top left hand corner and no effects in game). I tried to then launch through steam and the ENB worked when I did that, but like I said earlier, I didn't have any of my mods from MO2. Any solutions for this problem? dubiousintent
Found a post saying you should be using the "injection method" for ENB with MO2 (instead of it's DLL file). Would appreciate hearing back if that solves the problem (for the wiki). FYI to lurkers: "Overgrowth ENB" is just a "preset" of INI file configurations and has nothing to do with either method of getting ENB to launch. -Dubious- Edited April 23, 2021 by dubiousintent

I was able to fix it last night though. I decided to import my mod list to Vortex since you could launch through steam there and I thought it would work then since the mods would be loaded on steam where the ENB loaded. When I launched the game though, the menu text was screwed up and I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to resolve file conflicts and edit load order on there. In the end I just removed all my mods from Vortex and went back over to MO2, which still had all my mods loaded up. I decided to launch it one more time and if it didn't work I'd just have to deal with not using an ENB but to my surprise, it somehow worked. It probably had something to do with importing those mods but I don't know how it fixed that. Nevertheless I'm glad I was able to get it working in the end. I tried other methods after trying the injector and none worked so I don't know if the injector did anything and like I said, it was probably because I didn't install it right. dubiousintent
Please see the "Issue - ENB is not working" entry under the "Solutions to Post-Processor ENB or SweetFX et al problems" section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article. Get the basic ENB functional before attempting to install any "preset". -Dubious-
