nofear88
I got Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition from the retailer "Game" but am seriously reconsidering taking it back due to my hated enemy "Steam" I got 2 Cds to install the game but found out I had to go online for it to be activated via steam... fair enough as nearly all Game companies are jumping on the Steam bandwagon for the last few years now BUUUUUTTT Steam wants to download 24 flipping gigabytes worth of files WHICH I am sure is already present on the two Discs titles "disc 1" and "disc 2" which is the traditional way of installing Sooo... i did some research on the same problem other usuers are having in the past and found out that Steam "apparently" does not reconise the files and begins to download the files of its god-awful databases. I do not have the time nor internet bandwidth to download files I already got. I had this problem when I first got Skyrim but found the workaround to "fool" Steam to install from disc. I cannot find a way around this problem nor do i insteand to waste a month's worth of internet allowence to a partial installation from the internet of files of a game that already are on 2 CDs I bought for £24.99 UK. Steam is flipping asking way too much this time.
