DocClox
Greetings, all! Another silly question if I may, from the House Of Clox: I want an actor to emit a cry of pain. All the lines I need in are in generic dialogue/Combat/Hit. But they don't show up in the Topic property drop-drown. Is there a simple way to do this, or do I need to make my own non-combat dialogue topic? Edited April 23, 2021 by DocClox
SKKmods
If they are not set up as shared Infos and you dont want to hack the source dialog quest/topics to add your actor conditions then you need to re-recreate them. Export the FUZ files (lazy voice finder is your friend) create the same topics in your own quest making sure the conditions are setup to pick your actors and repath/name the source FUZ files. Enable subtitles for testing and note voice may not play until you create archive to pack em in a BA2 even with lose files enabled. Dooin a lot of that right here right now. Feels like a crime against reason, just recreated "I'll mark it on your map" several times
DocClox
Wow. Thanks for that. That would have taken a while to figure out by myself.
SKKmods
Oh and top tip: if your not sure of the new filepath and file name for the voice file copies, press the record button which will create a placeholder WAV in the correct folder. Typically \data\sound\voice\espfilename\voicename
