Therumancer
Alright, I explored pretty much the whole wasteland, and am now doing a modded run through the game (also after achievements I guess since being forced onto Windows live). One of the first things I added were the new radio stations since I really wanted more varied stuff in the backround. I loaded up "A Drama", "Talk Thing With Kruk", "Ghost Radio", and "Echo Station" for starters since they were all stand alones/new channels and didn't mod existing files or anything. At any rate, everything was working fine. I did a ninja run down to Rivet City to grab the Intel Bobble for extra skill points/bonuses before I leveled too much. No problems at all. Radio Stations working fine. I head out to Super Duper Mart and that is where things get wierd. I kill a bunch of raiders outside and that little kid from the "Them!" quest comes running up to me in the parking lot in front. I have no bloody idea why since this seems a bit out of his area (having been here earlier). I save and reload trying to pass his speech challenges a few times before deciding it wasn't worth the headache. About this time the audio files went to absolute crud. This is especially odd because when entering the Super Duper Mart I met "Doyle" running around with some kind of 10mm rifle and an 85 DR Mysterious Stranger Coat. I mention this in connection to this as "Doyle" is from another mod I added (Doyles Weapons) but the guy is supposed to be sitting in the outhouse/bathroom in Megaton unless I missed something, not running around as an indestructable juggernaut killing all the raiders in Super Duper Mart. I eventually wound up downing him with close to 100 rounds of 10mm ammo to the head (don't bloody ask, I wasn't using any combat mods). I mention this simply because that's two errors (sound mess ups, and a spawned NPC a huge distance away from where he is supposed to be, I used the Doyle Mods simply because I figured I'd go after that junk if I ever got truely bored). This doesn't seem like it would be connected to Sound Files, but it's wierdness all connected to the same area. I Super Duper Mart just a place with messy code that causes things to go on the fritz, or is it likely there is some kind of conflict, or what? Mostly I just want to keep my Radio Stations working (and they did for over an hour with no problems at all).
