No textures what-so-ever... Why?

you can't make anything out. They all blend in together in the endless white-ness of this. ///_<

if you move to certain areas of the prison (at the biginning of the game) some things will turn purple.

also, the skeleton on the floor is purple, but the jail door and pots are all black.

the eyes on any character are like beachballs. They are technicolored. ///_T

other than that, whenever I go to change one of the visual options, the game crashes. (it's the same when I try to activate mods like the Companion Mod)

apparently I have all the minimum system requirements, so that couldn't be the problem...

I've tried to check the texture paths (to no success).

when I made the visuals smaller and made the screen size smaller, I could the the basic shape of things and the characters were black

so... anyone know what is up?

Im having a similar problem; some of the characters' clothes are black.

You should write down the list of mods that you are using

To help we need system specs, including the exact video card you have. And whether you are using XP or Vista.

And a mod list in load order if you are using any mods.

Also, what version of Oblivion you have, if you have Shivering Isles or not, and what patches you have applied.

I am using XP. I have both Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. (they came with the "Game of the Year Edition". I am using the latest patch (v1.2.0416)

The mods I have are as listed in order of appearence on the data files screen:

24 Hour Arena

Armamentarium Katanas

Michael Jackson Companion <--lol

all of the CM Partners NPC basic mod files

DAAltair <-- like the MJ companion mod

Defensive Katana Store v1.0

the Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, and Oblivion base esp's (in that order)

and the TDA_PHModv1.2

I've tried starting the game with only the base game's esp and the Pyramid Head esp, but that had the same results.

Then I've tried starting the game without any mods, but the same thing happened.

NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X <--my video card

and what system specs would you need (I've never had to go find them before in my 4 years of hacking) lol... so I might not know how to find them.

I don't believe your video card is up to running Oblivion.

You can test it here: http://www.srtest.com/referrer/srtest

the drop-down list on that site doesn't have Oblivion in the list (or any Elder Scrolls game, for that matter)

I attemted to check Fallout 3 (since the graphics are insane on that game as well), but I've told my computer not to install random ActiveX components in the past, so it didn't work anyway.

Look for The Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion. probably further down in the list than you looked. Usually you can allow an active x temporarily. It needs that to see what you have so it can tell you if it will work with a particular game.
