croix444
NVSE with the 4GB enabler. Explain it to me like you would explain it to a 6 year old, step by step by step by step, because I've been trying to figure it out all day today, and I just can't. I've googled and searched through the forums, and I've found nothing that works. Edited May 15, 2013 by croix444
greggorypeccary
It's been a while so someone correct me if I'm wrong but ... I think all you have to do is unzip the nvse zip file put the entire contents of the zip file for the newest nvse in your root folder. ( the one the data folder and FONV exe. are in). Put the entire contents of the newest version of 4gb zip tnto the same folder. Start the game with the 4gb exe in the folder where you just put it. You might want to make a shortcut to it on your desktop.Hope that helps.
doubleDizz
Recently wrote this on another thread. Hope it helps. Been modding skyrim for a while, just recently thought I'd get into it with New Vegas.Pretty brutal the way you guys explain how to install certain mods, such as this.. I'm completely confused... How do I install this? yea it's a bit of a joke isn't it. I only just started mod loading, wished I started with Skyrim instead of FNV haha. You have a few options. The one direct from the Readme: Running-------First, make sure Steam is running. Then run FNV4GB.exe to launch the game! You don't even need it in the games directory, just make sure FNV4gb.exe and fnv4gb_helper.dll are together. If your version of Fallout New Vegas is not the standard version with the SteamAppID of 22380 you need to run fnv4gb.exe and specify the actual SteamAppID on the command line. Example: fnv4gb.exe -SteamAppID 22380 However if you're using Nexus Mod Manager, you can actually load it in Settings > Fallout New Vegas > Command Line. Just add the FNV4GB.exe in the command line and it becomes a custom launch option in NMM (look for the drop-down list button where it says "launch Fallout New Vegas")

neidelesta
If you want or need to verify that FNV4GB.exe is executing with your NMM config you can determine this by deleting your FNV4GB.log file from \Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV. If your NMM configuration is correct it will rewrite the log file for you. Else it will not.
