Incomplete or rushed/lazy work, unkept promises, you name it. The Nexus is full of it. I got used to it. You only get the "bEgGaRs cAn'T bE cHoOsErS, mOdDeRs dOn'T oWe yOu aNyThInG" kind of replies when you hit them with the truth, always. Because them wasting your time with a bad mod is perfectly acceptable here on the Nexus, since it still earns the site owners money through Ads. You probably get a ban too eventually if you make too many people butthurt - which you already got from what I see, Sam. We live in a sad society.

At least it's not a monetized mod on Patreon or Bethesda's CC store, and the author here is openly saying that they don't give enough sh-ts to work on the mod further. Could be worse...

I only wish there was a downvote button, but I doubt we'll ever get one, knowing the snowflakey mod authors would cry even more and quit modding/the nexus upon being downvoted eventually. Lots of modders just want attention/praise/fame or money now, so they'll either monetize their stuff on Patreon/Bethesda's CC Store, or move to another game/community where they get more attention and such if they can.

The Jim guy from the True Eyes mod is a good example. Throwing a tantrum/taking his mod off the Nexus and leaving, the reason being (according to him) getting "only got $55 in donations over a 3-year span".

I'm just gonna leave this (hyperlink) here and say that we're in bad need of a dislike button.

EDIT: Fun fact, the author didn't even list the correct hair pack in the description. That's one of the short hairs in the "Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar" mod, not "Commonwealth Cuts - KS Hairdos - ApachiiSkyHair".

You could literally post some porn on here and get just as many or more downloads. (In the form of a poster/canvas settlement decoration perhaps, to keep it related to the game.)

Just because some people are f'd up, as the person creating this comment said, it doesn't mean you should cater to it. This is NOT the content we should/want to have on the Nexus. The comments you got are on point. Post such things on loverslab, where such people gather. That applies to the "horse dick" too.

You see, the Nexus doesn't have tags specific enough to filter out such content, and we can't know exactly which of the tags each mod has. We would end up hiding mods we like too if we were to hide everything that has one of the many tags of such type, like "Sexualised Content", "Swearing/Profanity", "Not safe for work", "Sexy/Skimpy", etc.

EDIT: And before you tell me they're in the same category pretty much - no, they aren't. There's a fine line between 1) a "sexualised" armor or a nude body model meant for aesthetic purposes, or even a dildo-like club (like what your horse dick mod could be), which is for humor purposes, and 2) something like this, meant for the sick-minded people/virgins/fappers/13-15 year olds of this community. Best case scenario, somebody downloads this to put Preston Garvey or Strong on it for the memes.

If your IQ was any higher than ours, you would at least be able to tell the difference between a regular adult mod (e.g. CBBE body, meant for aesthetic purposes) and a BDSM kind of mod like this, meant for sick-minded people, virgins fapping to a game, kiddos, etc. But I'm not gonna argue, just know that by supporting mods like this on here, you're contributing towards a lower quality modding community.

(@*username*) Wrong. It means he was bothered enough by it to actually click on it so he can leave a comment. And the same applies to me.

He would've most likely left the comment without clicking it if it were possible. The only hypocrite here is you, who is on this site instead of loverslab just to get more attention than you would on there, since this site has more users. Pathetic.

Let me rephrase... tags do exist, but we can't know which mod has what tag to actually only hide mods like this. By hiding all adult files, for instance, we would also be hiding mods like CBBE, for example, which is for aesthetic purposes, instead of just hiding stuff like this. But I'm not gonna argue about it further, you made crystal clear that you don't give a damn about any of the many people commenting against this, as long as you get the attention you seek. We need a dislike button on this site badly, as I've stated before elsewhere. Because lots of people won't even bother commenting, knowing the mods of this site will not remove such mods even if 1 person only likes it. Still money for them, you know how it is.

What you're saying implies that there's an option to filter out mods of such type. There isn't. You either hide along with it mods that you may want, or you just don't. For instance, this mod has the NSFW and Sexy/Skimpy tags. If I wanted, say, a texture for my character's face, and hid the Sexy/Skimpy tag, I would not be able to see mods like the Valkyr face texture. Get it?

We need a special tag for mods like this, e.g. "BDSM". Perhaps it'd help if they could only add 1 tag to a mod too, cause from the looks of it, people like the author here add as many "relevant" tags as possible, since that'll make the mod show up in more categories.

What I'm going to do instead is block the author, seeing this is not his first f---ed up mod. He uploaded some horse dick before. Dude's clearly /that/ kind of person. Just look at the images; He's even using an almost child-looking character.

@*username*

Ever heard of feedback? No wonder this site has no dislike button on here with y'all being that way... Just like Facebook. Snowflakes only want praise, and when they get the kind of feedback/criticism they don't want, they leave the site. The site owners don't want that, since they lose money that way, so all we got is the comments.

As about bans, what makes you believe they're effective? It's a free site where people can register a new account at any time, under a different IP address if necessary, and continue doing what they do. Only people who have spent money on here, have some sort of "reputation" or have uploaded mods and such would actually be bothered by a ban.

In fact, I wasn't bothered by the mod exactly myself. I came here just to see the comments, and I was not disappointed tbh. It's the author's attitude/way of responding to the feedback that bothered me and made me stay here. I'll just go ahead and block them and hopefully no longer be seeing mods from them, since blocking an entire category/tag will also hide mods I may want.
