Make sure you have the updated 'fixed' plugin for this mod:

Other than that, you should be fine. If you still can't load any of your save games, you may need to start a new game.

The other thing is that I would strongly advice you to avoid the Steam Workshop and -never- allow it to manage your load order. SW treats users like morons, update/delete mods automatically for the user. It is absoutely -the- worst method of installing and managing mods of all the possible methods for installing and managing mods for Skyrim. You'd actually be better off installing mods manually than using SW, because at least then you'd be able to open up the archives and see just exactly what files are being installed and where they are installed to, before they get installed. But ideally, you should use a real mod manager like NMM or the Mod Organizer to exclusively handle your mod installations/uninstallations, and get all your mods from the Nexus.

kk ... I'll do some cleanings and see where I'm at. I'm not terribly worried about having to start over, I'm not that far into my current character anyway (lvl 5 I think), just wanna make sure everything else works ... I will definately keep what you say in mind though.

 

And I give you an untold amount of thanks for being so patient and helpful. If I had a tangible way of returning the favor, I'd spend the rest of the day doing it. Thank you, a thousand thousand thank yous!
