Well, I would actually take the OBJ file, import that into nifskope.

Then I'd open another Nifskope and open a pre existing nif file which works in game (can either be gotten from the BSA files or from another mod you've downloaded)

go to the Nifskope with the OBJ file imported and right click and select "Mesh" and then "stripify"

(if the mash is made up of several different meshes and wasn’t grouped together before exporting the obj file then this will be difficult. Make sure the model is assigned to one texture too (maximum scale of 500x500 dds format) other wise the model will split up into different pieces when imported into nifskope)

Select the model then Right click the NiTriStripsData which can be found in the block list under the models NiTriStrips. Select Block and then "Copy".

Go to the Nifskope with the pre-existing Nif you opened earlier and Select the model you want to replace, (if making a weapon this would be the main body of the weapon) then select that models NiTriStripsData and right click it. Select Block and then Paste over, this may pop up a warning saying that the model is an old version of nif but click ok and it should work any way (hasnt failed for me so far)

the model may or may not be out of line with the original weapons location but you can re-arrange the co ordinates if needed by right clicking the model in the render window and selecting transform and "edit" and then altering the x,y,z co-ordinates. You can also rotate the model like that too.

you may also have to re locate the Projectile and the Shell Casing node with weapons, to correspond with your models.

hope this helps c:

I havent come across these errors before and it doesnt seem like they're mentioned much on the net either. All I can really suggest trying is optimizing the model a little by right clicking the model and removing duplicate verticies and unused verticies and trying to port it over again, If that doesnt work try using the Nif you exported and exporting that ones NiTriStripsData too.

Remodeled it to bout half of original removed all detail and quite frankly it looks like SH1T! But still the same error  even remodeled it with a loose clip, scope, slide and trigger like i saw in nifscope models but still , even get that error (Array data list much too large.1852138323 bytes requested) same number of bytes no mater what i want to copy

I need help with collision! I can easily get a model to show up in game. But i have a hard time getting my collision to work.

I hope we both can figure out our problems soon.
