LadyMiseryAli
It's not game-breaking, but it is odd. Some of the NPCs, including Duncan, have overly tanned skin, looking almost like a mix btwn spending too much time in a tanning salon and rubbing dirt on one's face. I'm not sure if it's something to do with Improved Atmospheres/Dracomie's textures/DA redesigned making some skin tones weird while leaving others alone or something else. Anyone else see this in their games? And is there a fix? Like I said, not game-breaking or anything. Just strange looking to me.
Pasquale1223
I'm not familiar with the mods you mention, but... Duncan's mother was Rivaini, so he always had a darker skin tone. Isabela is also Rivaini - her lightning isn't great in DAO, though they did attempt to give her an appropriate skin tone given her ethnicity. There are NPCs that look like how I describe though. When I play next, I'll screenshot it. Not sure if it's one of the mods not playing nice with another or if it's just a glitch in general, though I don't recall seeing weird tones when I played it on console. theskymoves
Do you have any other mods installed, apart from IA, and DA Redesigned/Dracomies? What you are describing sounds very much like an issue that is often reported by users of JB3 textures and certain high resolution default skin texture replacers. (The reason that you are only seeing some NPCs affected is that while some of the morphs in DA Redesigned do not use any vanilla/Bioware skin textures, others do.) I have SJC skin textures due to it being needed for a Cullen morph, and I have Pineapple Tree's vibrant skintones. So one of these is the culprit perhaps? theskymoves
Neither of those mods are skin texture replacers, so no, unlikely that they are responsible. Are you using a global texture replacer, like JB3 or the like?

theskymoves
Would it be possible for you to post a screencap of the issue? You may be having an issue differnent than what I'm picturing. Also, could you check your override for files that override the Bioware skin textures, which are: uh_hed_dwfa_0d.ddsuh_hed_elfa_0d.ddsuh_hed_fema_0d.ddsuh_hed_infa_0d.ddsuh_hed_masa_0d.ddsuh_hed_olda_0d.ddsuh_hed_quna_0d.ddsuh_hed_sica_0d.dds and files replacing the default skin tints: t1_skn_001.tntt1_skn_002.tntt1_skn_003.tntt1_skn_004.tntt1_skn_005.tntt1_skn_006.tntt1_skn_007.tnt ??? I can't recall offhand what the default qunari tint is... sorry 'bout that.
LadyMiseryAli
Did a search, and found that both groups of files exist in override. I'm guessing they're interfering with one another then?
theskymoves
It's possible, but the files could also be completely benign. It depends on what they are. What mods are the files from? We can't discern whether that's where the issue lies without looking at the specific mods involved... (And again, a screencap showing what the issue looks like would be very helpful.) Barring supplying any of that info, just remove any mods that replace the default skin textures and/or tints and see if the issue goes away. If it does, you found the culprit.
